Olde
Park began development in the late 1990's by local real estate developer
Joseph P. Griffith and attorney Joseph F. Rice, Jr.
The Olde Park Architectural
Review Board was established by the developers to ensure that each home is designed to
meet the original vision for the neighborhood. Typical homesites range from .40-.50+/-
acres in size. The entire community contains approximately 90+/- acres of highland,
marsh and wetlands. There are 114 total homesites.
Many of the mature trees,
including large live oak, and small green spaces throughout the community were
left or designed into the neighborhood. There are over 5+/- acres of ponds and over 4+/-
acres of parks and a gazebo on the lake.
Olde Park is located in the Town of Mount Pleasant SC off Mathis Ferry Rd. next to
I'On Village neighborhood, with only 2
mins drive to the Ravenal Bridge to downtown and less than 10 mins to Shem Creek.
There is a yearly $1800 fee for the insurances, and other amenities of the neighborhood.
- No changes to the exterior of the
property can be made without board approval first. (fences, driveways, walls
etc)
- No trailers, boats, boat trailers, RVs, etc can be kept, stored, or
parked overnight in front view of the street. All must be kept unseen behind an ARB
approved fence.
There is a 1/4 of 1% of the purchase price due one time at closing that goes to the HOA for capital contribution to maintain the roads, signs, lighting, HOA insurance etc.
All owners have the right to join The
I'On Club if they choose to at the same terms and conditions as the owners of I'On.
All owners who wish to join will have to apply and pay all dues and fees per the
agreement. I'On Village of Mt Pleasant is a
separate adjoining community.
